Get In Touch

In July of 2019, my former site was managed by Yahoo Small Business, now under the name of Aabaco Small Business, and while they were quite good at taking money from me every month to keep the site active, they offered very little support.

Two years ago Yahoo (Aabaco) had their e-mail servers hacked and my business account was one of the ones that was attacked. So some contacts quite chatting with me through that e-mail account and instead we went to Facebook for our talks.

To stop the fallout Yahoo said they were upgrading the business email, so while I was excited with the possible changes I was also quite skeptical. So the changes came and my business email disappeared. With this all my email contacts disappeared. All my business emails as well as some very private emails disappeared.

I sent a notice about this to the support teams and was told they couldn’t fix it and they’d send it to the next higher group for repairs. Well two more notices later and nothing was being done, in fact, they weren’t even responding.

So with this in mind, maybe my Higher Power was speaking to me and saying it is time to go. So my site disappeared from the web. \

Over time I missed the site and chatting with folks from around the world. In April of 2020, I received an email about one of my writings on the 6th Promise of AA. The person was asking for permission to use it in a newsletter. That was the push to bring me back.

Rest assured all the problems with the old site and the email server is gone. This is a new site, with a new server. Emails are directed to a Google account. Any emails written to the old email address will be forwarded to Google. No correspondence will come from the old address. Thank you for your understanding and support while this change has taken place.
